1. Scope

This policy applies when you browse ABII, create an account, apply as an instructor, enroll in a course, access learning content, complete assessments, make a payment, submit feedback, or use support and account-recovery features.

2. Information we collect

Account and identity information

We may store your name, email address, phone number, role, account and verification status, profile information, sign-in method, and security preferences. If multi-factor authentication is enabled, we store protected authentication configuration and recovery information.

Learning and assessment information

We record enrollments, saved courses, lesson progress, completion choices, quiz and final-exam attempts, selected answers, scores, deadlines, reviews, ratings, comments, and certificates. Timed assessments may record security-related activity such as fullscreen changes, hidden tabs, warnings, submissions, and expiry.

Instructor and course information

Instructor applications may contain experience, qualifications, supporting information, review notes, and decisions. We store course drafts and published versions, modules, lessons, files, media references, quizzes, exams, course language, pricing, revision history, approvals, enrollment statistics, and commission arrangements.

Payments, communications, and technical data

We store invoices, payment status, transaction references, amounts, currency, rewrite fees, earnings records, feedback, screenshots, notifications, verification messages, and recovery requests. We may process IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, session data, security events, and logs needed to operate and protect ABII. Complete payment-card details should remain with the external payment provider and not be stored by ABII.

3. How we use information

  • Create, verify, secure, and recover accounts.
  • Deliver courses, preserve progress, administer assessments, calculate results, and issue verifiable certificates.
  • Process payments and exam-rewrite fees and calculate instructor earnings where enabled.
  • Review instructor applications and approve courses or later revisions before release.
  • Provide ratings, reviews, saved courses, feedback, support, and notifications.
  • Prevent misuse, investigate incidents, maintain audit records, and improve reliability.
  • Meet applicable legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations.

4. When information may be shared

Authorized administrators and root users may access information needed for support, security, payments, instructor applications, course review, and account recovery. Instructors can access information relevant to their own courses, including enrolled students, reviews, activity, and earnings. Access is limited according to role.

ABII may use providers for hosting, databases, file storage, email or SMS, identity sign-in, payments, monitoring, and support. Providers should receive only what they need and be subject to appropriate safeguards. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect users and the platform. ABII does not sell personal information for third-party advertising.

5. Security

ABII uses role-based access, account verification, password protection, multi-factor authentication, controlled recovery, protected paid content, server-enforced deadlines, and audit records. No online system is completely secure. Protect your credentials, recovery codes, and devices, and report suspected unauthorized access.

6. Retention

We retain information as needed to operate accounts and courses, preserve academic and certificate records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, audit, and accounting duties. Periods differ by record type. Data no longer required should be deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated, subject to lawful and operational limitations.

7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about processing. Certain financial, assessment, certificate, security, or fraud-prevention records may need to be retained. Identity verification may be required before fulfilling a privacy or recovery request.

8. Children

ABII should only be used by people who can lawfully agree to these terms, or by learners whose use is properly authorized by a parent, guardian, institution, or responsible party where required.

9. Policy changes

We may update this policy when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest revision date appears above, and material changes should be communicated appropriately.

10. Contact and requests

Use the Help Centre or the signed-in feedback feature for privacy questions. Never send passwords, MFA secrets, recovery codes, or complete card details in support messages.
